Overview

Instructure is looking for an experienced enterprise account executive to join our growing higher education sales team, focusing on selling Canvas to new clients in the Southeast Region.

In Short

  • Sell Canvas to new clients in the Southeast Region (NC, SC, GA, FL, PR, AL, MS, LA).
  • Reside in the Southeast or within convenient travel distance to the region.
  • Share insights to help prospects evaluate different solutions.
  • Prepare tailored messaging for prospective clients.
  • Guide clients through the purchasing process.
  • Accurately forecast quarterly and annual performance.
  • Develop sales strategies to increase client pipeline.
  • Build relationships with key buyers in institutions.
  • Meet/exceed sales quotas within specified time frames.
  • Log account information into Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of proven sales experience.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets in SaaS or EdTech.
  • Understanding of educational pedagogy and LMS sales is a plus.
  • Experience selling enterprise-level software and SaaS services.
  • Experience selling at all levels, including “C” level and above.
  • Excellent strategic/consultative sales skills.
  • Challenger Sales Methodology training.
  • Ability to conduct needs analysis and proposal development.
  • Up to 30-40% travel required.
