As a Senior Software Engineer at Included Health, you'll contribute to building technology that enhances healthcare accessibility and effectiveness for members, designing and developing systems that improve care experiences.

In Short

Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs.
Solve complex integration challenges across healthcare data sources.
Contribute to product development with impactful features.
Ensure reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability of systems.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers.
Take ownership of projects throughout their lifecycle.
Mentor and support other engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise in at least one modern backend language.
Experience designing and building APIs and distributed systems.
Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with containerization and microservices architectures.
Ability to balance technical tradeoffs and product impact.
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
