Global Category Manager – Electronics - Remote

Overview

The Global Category Manager – Electronics will lead the electronics sourcing strategy across IMI’s Life Science business, focusing on defining and executing category strategies for electronic components and assemblies.

• Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance.
• Utilize ERP tools for spend visibility and performance management.
• Support product development with supplier involvement.
• Travel approximately 20% of the time to suppliers and IMI offices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business (Master’s preferred).
• 6-8+ years of experience in procurement or category management.
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and supply markets.
• Experience in supplier negotiation and performance management.
• Ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
