Overview

The Global Category Manager will oversee indirect categories across Velcro’s global business, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost reduction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, or engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in a Procurement role for Indirect materials/services.
  • Knowledge of indirect-related categories is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment.
  • Skilled negotiator with strategic thinking abilities.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach.
  • Experience in managing supplier performance.
  • Understanding of global supply conditions and market pricing.
