Senior Web Developer for industrial applications, Walloon Brabant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a web application developer to join our team based in Mont-Saint-Guibert (Louvain-La-Neuve). The ideal candidate will have solid experience in web development and a comprehensive understanding of the associated ecosystems.

In Short

• Collaborate with a team of two expert developers of the current application (developed in C/C++) and contribute to its gradual migration to a web application.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable web applications.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development processes.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, web development, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development.
• Portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and associated frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
• Experience with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Knowledge of code versioning tools (Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good practical knowledge of English is a must; proficiency in French is a plus.
