Overview

The Volunteer Screening Coordinator plays a crucial role in evaluating prospective mentors for iMentor, ensuring safety and alignment with the organization's mission to support high school students.

In Short

  • Conduct and transcribe 16-18 phone interviews per week with applicants.
  • Manage and track volunteer data using Salesforce and other tools.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the application process.
  • Participate in team projects and calls to provide insights.
  • Ensure compliance with all screening procedures and standards.
  • Work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Maintain effective communication with applicants and team members.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
  • Align with iMentor's values and mission.
  • Contract position ending December 19, 2025.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in nonprofits, customer service, or similar fields.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Ability to transcribe at 40-60 WPM.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and open to feedback.
  • Interest in youth development and social impact.
  • Alignment with iMentor's values.
