Volunteer Outreach Coordinator - Remote

Overview

iMentor is seeking four Volunteer Outreach Coordinators (VOCs) to help recruit volunteer mentors to match with students. This is a primarily remote, part-time, seasonal position that will support our mentor recruitment teams during their most critical season.

In Short

• Recruit volunteer mentors through various outreach techniques.
• Execute call and email campaigns to volunteer prospects.
• Support prospect research for recruitment partners and outreach channels.
• Represent iMentor at tabling events.
• Facilitate mentor orientations.
• Document outreach efforts using Salesforce.
• Work roughly 20 hours spread across 4-5 days each week.
• Occasional evening and Saturday availability is required.
• Must comply with NYC Vaccine mandate.
• Paid sick time accrues at a rate of 7 days per year.

Requirements

• Experience with volunteer outreach and engagement.
• Comfortable with cold calling and leading call campaigns.
• Tech savvy with familiarity in Salesforce, Excel, Google Drive, and Zoom.
• Self-driven and able to manage work independently.
• Strong phone communication skills.
• Alignment with iMentor's mission and values.

• Must meet compliance requirements including background checks.
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Must have home internet for remote work.
