Platform Infrastructure Cloud, FIX Expert - Vice President - Remote

Overview

The Platform Infrastructure team at iCapital plays a critical role in keeping the production and development environments running smoothly and securely. This role will utilize advanced cloud capabilities to facilitate the Platform Infrastructure strategy of market agility and learn operating principles with a strict focus on quality to meet the ever-growing demands of our clients.

In Short

• Provide FIX Protocol support for institutional trading clients.
• Support proprietary interfaces for various OMS vendors.
• Drive the client on-boarding process through technical advice.
• Build highly available solutions across the entire SDLC stack.
• Develop and maintain tools for MacOS and Linux environments.
• Maintain site reliability with scalable systems.
• Develop software to secure and automate cloud infrastructure.
• Design and operate a Kubernetes environment.
• Experience with distributed systems design and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technology, preferably in trading.
• 5+ years of experience supporting electronic trading.
• 5+ years of FIX Protocol experience.
• 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of order management systems preferred.
• Microservices experience in production environments.
• Strong Linux OS-level knowledge.
• Working knowledge of databases like MongoDB and Postgres.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Ruby, or Java.
• Experience with cloud provisioning using Terraform.
