Overview

The Core Infrastructure team is committed to building and operating reliable, scalable, and repeatable infrastructure that empowers DoorDash engineers to deliver software quickly and reliably. Within this team, the Cloud Infrastructure & Platform team plays a crucial role in developing our internal self-serve infrastructure platforms.

In Short

• Develop Self-Serve Platforms: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop a state-of-the-art self-serve platform using Go.
• Enhance User Experience: Build a solid frontend experience for our self-serve platforms.
• Optimize Engineering Workflows: Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve engineering velocity.
• Address Identity and Access Complexities: Solve identity and access challenges.
• Drive Cloud Governance Initiatives: Lead efforts to establish robust Cloud Governance.
• Make a massive impact: Direct impact on the business's ability to bring products to market quickly.

Requirements

• Proven Experience: 2+ years in an infrastructure, platform, or full-stack role.
• Backend Development Skills: Experience in backend development with Go.
• Frontend Proficiency: Proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript, experience in React.js is a plus.
• Cloud Expertise: Experience managing cloud resources, particularly with AWS.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
