Associate or Assistant Vice President - Hedge Fund Finance - Remote

Overview

iCapital is looking to hire an Associate or Assistant Vice President to join the Hedge Fund Finance team with a focus on registered funds. This role is hands on with operational responsibility for servicing tender offer and interval funds across private equity, hedge, and private credit asset classes in conjunction with third-party administrators.

In Short

• Build and maintain relationships with underlying fund managers, fund administrators, and distributors.
• Design and implement processes and procedures for servicing the funds.
• Work closely with Investor Relations, Product, Legal and Compliance, Technology, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Participate in new fund structuring, setup, and onboarding.
• Provide oversight of fund administrators and other service providers.
• Monitor cash positions and liquidity of investments.
• Run accounts payable and expense allocation processes.
• Define, update, and maintain operating policies and procedures.
• Liaise with funds’ custodian and funds’ bank.
• Work with counsel and CCO to ensure compliance with fund docs and regulatory filings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or another business-related field.
• 3+ years of fund accounting, fund administration, or finance operations experience.
• Tender offer or Interval Fund experience is preferred.
• Private equity or private credit experience is preferred.
• Passion for the application of innovative technology.
• Advanced accounting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a team player.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Base salary range of $90,000 to $140,000.
