Associate, Fund Finance Private Capital - Remote

Overview

iCapital is looking for an Associate to join its Fund Finance Private Capital team to focus on Private Capital Fund Accounting and Administration duties. This individual will work closely with other team members, vendors, senior management, and clients on a variety of accounting and reporting processes.

In Short

• Work with implementation teams on new business and fund launches.
• Review feeder fund draft documents and provide feedback.
• Determine commitment sizes and conduct analysis on expenses.
• Oversee quarterly NAV and partners’ capital account statement issuance.
• Review capital call and distribution cash analysis.
• Participate in management-level meetings.
• Attend prospective clients’ on-site due diligence.
• Approve quarterly management fee payment wires.
• Facilitate process automation with technology teams.
• Monitor fund compliance with operating agreement terms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3 to 6 years of financial services or asset management experience.
• Experience in alternative investments fund administration is a plus.
• Advanced degree or progress towards MBA, CPA, CFA, or CAIA is a plus.
• Passion for innovative technology.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or as a team player.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in an evolving environment.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $85,000 to $115,000.
• Compensation package includes salary, equity, and performance bonus.
