Software Engineer II/Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer II/Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team at Iambic Therapeutics. You will be a key player in applying advanced software engineering skills to build technologies that support our drug discovery efforts.

In Short

• Work in a cross-functional team that spans the full domain of drug discovery.
• Provide software development support to the ML model life cycle.
• Develop efficient and maintainable data pipelines.
• Benchmark systems of models.
• Deploy to AWS and collaborate on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate on the creation, testing, and maintenance of software systems.
• Conduct code reviews for pull requests.
• Mentor on software best practices including version control and testing.
• Collaborate with ML scientists to understand requirements for deployed models.
• Communicate work clearly in meetings and demos.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Technical acumen to develop and maintain ML systems.
• Experience with cloud-based ML systems processing TBs of data.
• Strong Python software skills.
• Working knowledge of Chemistry and Biology concepts.
• Ability to communicate with ML engineers.
• Competence in software development.
• Experience in scientific computing/lab environments.
• Conversant with cloud computing and able to provide requirements to DevOps engineers.
