Recommended Spare Part List Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Recommended Spare Part List (RSPL) Engineer is responsible for creating Recommended Spare Parts Lists for the Heavy Duty power plant technologies in the GE Vernova fleet.

In Short

• Create recommended spare part lists for inspections of generators and turbines.
• Obtain as-shipped unit BoMs and identify relevant sections for inspections.
• Categorize recommended spare parts based on Standard Work documents.
• Update lists based on in-service modifications.
• Ensure spare parts availability in PLM and ERP systems.
• Validate and update spare part lists for standard generators and turbines.
• Drive projects to improve accuracy of spare parts lists.
• Support creation and maintenance of Work Instructions and trainings.
• Collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• Contribute to the mission of decarbonizing energy.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in English (writing, speaking, reading).
• Detail-oriented and organized team player.
• Experience with legacy GE Heavy Duty technologies is a plus.
• Ability to learn business operating systems quickly.
• Reading technical documentation in French and/or German is advantageous.
