Overview

As a Data Engineer at CoinMarketCap, you will design, build, and deploy recommendation systems, as well as set up and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines to enhance user experience and data accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science Engineering or related fields.
• 4+ years in developing and deploying data pipelines.
• 2+ years in recommendation/feed systems development.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or Java.
• Experience with cache databases (e.g., Redis, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with job schedulers (e.g., Airflow).
• Knowledge of message queue systems (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• Cloud service experience (GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem is beneficial.
