Regional Controller - Remote

Overview

As the Regional Controller with HVMG, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our hotel operations. This role will support our Hotels and Regional Controller Team in the preparation, review, and distribution of all financial statements.

In Short

• Resolve accounting issues and communicate proper procedures.
• Work with auditors to complete audits.
• Review and implement accounting processes.
• Ensure timely preparation of Hotel Financial Statements.
• Review Profit & Loss Statements for accuracy.
• Produce monthly financial reports.
• Assist with research for owners and stakeholders.
• Work with takeover teams for property transitions.
• Review and prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Produce cash forecasts and review accounts payable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, preferably finance or accounting.
• 2 to 5 years of hospitality industry experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and ProfitSword Suites.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication skills.
