Regional Controller, West Region - Remote

Overview

The Regional Controller, West Region will be focused on supporting our member firms in the West Region with monthly close activities, financial reporting, and annual audit requirements. This role partners closely with our FP&A team in the annual budget process for the West Region firms.

In Short

• Responsible for the monthly closure of a portfolio of firms in the West region.
• Collect and measure financial data to analyze financial performance and present findings to leadership.
• Review the KPI and monthly results package including P&L and balance sheet.
• Prepare and coordinate financial reports, ensuring compliance with government regulations, company policies and operating agreements.
• Key player in assessment of monthly firm performance and provide insight into month-over-month variances.
• Manage and coach offshore accounting team in India for daily accounting processes.
• Provide support to local operations teams including managing partners at the respective firms.
• Manage full cycle GL close and consolidations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
• CPA license is strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience with demonstrated advancement in level and complexity of roles.
• Experience managing full-cycle GL close for multiple entities.
• Prior work experience in fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial, and/or private equity-backed organizations is highly preferred.
• Multi-entity and acquisition experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading a team of accountants and/or support staff members, including offshore support.
• Prior working experience with NetSuite or similar ERP software.
• Prior working experience with Ramp or similar AP software.
