Overview

The Regional Business Controller at Fugro will oversee financial management for the Marine business line in APAC, ensuring integrity in financial reporting and providing valuable insights to drive project performance.

In Short

• Act as finance end-responsible for the regional business line.
• Advise business controllers and service line managers on finance topics.
• Support month-end closing processes and variance analysis.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for business lines.
• Ensure tax compliance in a multi-tax jurisdiction environment.
• Manage financial project control processes.
• Provide financial visibility to project managers.
• Support commercial teams with tendering activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in business control processes.
• Prepare investment proposals and support acquisitions or divestments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and CPA / CA qualified.
• 5 – 8 years of experience in Finance or Business Control.
• Effective communication skills across functions.
• Experience in a multi-national project organization preferred.
• Proactive personality with a focus on identifying risks.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Self-starter with a positive approach to work.
