Safety Officer - Remote

Overview

The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance at construction sites, conducting inspections, and promoting health and safety practices.

In Short

• Conduct daily safety inspections on site activities.
• Identify hazards and propose mitigating measures.
• Ensure compliance with the Project Health and Safety Management Manual.
• Organize and participate in safety committee meetings.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes.
• Assist in safety promotional activities in office and site environments.
• Maintain statutory and safety records for inspection.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and site personnel on safety matters.
• Provide recommendations to improve safety practices.
• Work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Occupational Safety and Health or related disciplines.
• Registered Safety Officer under the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance (FIUO) is a plus.
• Valid first aider training certificate and driver's license are assets.
• Relevant safety experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Strong presentation and analytical skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to commute between office and work sites.
