Engineer III - Product Security - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer in Product Security at CrowdStrike, you will be responsible for developing and deploying security tooling and automation across the organization to protect the Security Cloud from advanced threats.

In Short

• Help protect the Security Cloud from advanced threats.
• Develop and deploy security tooling and automation.
• Collaborate with product security teams and engineers.
• Design and implement software & automation tools for security use cases.
• Maintain reliability of monitoring tools and telemetry sources.
• Troubleshoot production systems with developers and engineering teams.
• Experience with event-driven systems and data ingestion pipelines.
• Work in a SaaS company environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity landscape and incident response.

Requirements

• Experience in a Software Engineering role.
• Proficient in Golang, Python, Angular, and Typescript.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible and Chef.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software cryptographic signing.
• Experience with ElasticSearch and relational databases.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in Security Operations or Incident Response.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Broad awareness of the cybersecurity landscape.
