Benefits Experience Associate - Remote (Contract)

Overview

The Benefits Experience Associate will guide Canadian businesses and their employees through their group benefits journey, providing exceptional service and education.

In Short

• Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding benefit inquiries.
• Educate clients on group benefits plans and claims procedures.
• Process enrolments, terminations, and changes for clients.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Attend Humi’s onboarding program to learn about the business.
• Shadow experienced Associates to understand day-to-day operations.
• Build a strong foundation of knowledge about benefits administration.
• Handle client interactions independently within the first year.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in group benefits customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and other software applications.
• Experience with Hubspot, Notion, and Zendesk is desirable.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• GBA or CEBS designation is desirable but not mandatory.
