Payments Underwriting & Risk Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Payments Underwriting & Risk Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the success of HubSpot Payments by conducting credit analysis and monitoring merchant accounts to protect against financial losses.

In Short

• Monitor merchant accounts for fraudulent activity.
• Conduct investigations into accounts presenting fraud risk.
• Review incoming chargebacks and assist merchants.
• Gather and interpret data from various financial documents.
• Identify patterns to prevent future fraud.
• Engage with merchants to address negative balances.

Requirements

• Experience in merchant underwriting and risk analysis.
• Familiarity with online payment methods.
• Understanding of KYC and AML/BSA requirements.
• Knowledge of fraud prevention methods.
• Experience analyzing high-risk transactions.
• Experience with financial analysis and credit risk assessment.
• Experience with EU and U.S Payments Underwriting is a plus.
• Experience with Stripe’s Connect platform is a plus.
