Overview

The Senior Benefits Analyst provides support with the administration of retirement and health and welfare employee benefit programs, overseeing work accuracy and delivering high customer service.

  • Analyzes PeopleSoft BenAdmin reports and resolves discrepancies.
  • Serves as a resource for employees and service providers.
  • Develops materials for employee benefits education.
  • Conducts audits and reconciles benefit payments.
  • Prepares government filings and plan audits.
  • Coordinates benefits workshops and orientations.
  • Maintains accurate benefits enrollment records.
  • Stays updated on trends and regulations in benefits.
  • Assists in implementing new benefit plans and systems.

Requirements

  • Masters degree with 2 years of HR/Benefits experience or Bachelors degree with 6 years of Benefits experience.
  • Knowledge of College organization and benefits program.
  • Understanding of federal and state regulations affecting employee benefits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Able to analyze and interpret business and regulatory documents.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse environment.
