Director of Hospice Operations - Remote

Overview

The Director of Operations carries out the mission and vision of the Company’s Palliative & Hospice Care by applying sound management principles to reach organizational goals. This role is responsible for collaborating with the staff and Governing Body to develop a strategic plan that will ensure that the Company’s Palliative & Hospice Care will continue to meet the needs of the patients and families it serves while making a difference in their communities.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multi-state hospice facilities.
• Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics.
• Provide leadership to the site team.

• Collaborate with the Clinical Director to ensure billing processes are completed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or related field.
• Master's degree in healthcare administration or related discipline preferred.
• 5-10 years of hospice or home health experience required.
• 3-5 years supervisory or management experience preferred.
• RN preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Digital literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a changing healthcare landscape.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
