Overview

The Regional Sales Manager role at Hitachi Energy is responsible for broadening the Network Control customer base through the identification and pursuit of new sales opportunities in the Eastern U.S. territory.

In Short

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for your territory.
  • Identify and qualify new leads through research, networking, and site visits.
  • Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM.
  • Coordinate with technical, marketing, and proposal teams to craft winning bids.
  • Lead RFP/RFI responses and partner strategy.
  • Build executive-level relationships and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Track competitor activity and market trends.
  • Close collaboration with Key account managers.
  • Travel to customer sites (~40%) and leverage virtual engagement as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience in the electric utility sector.
  • Proven ability to win new business and expand customer base.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Knowledge of SCADA, ADMS, EMS, GMS, and IT/OT convergence.
