Overview

The Eastern Regional Sales Manager will lead sales efforts in the Eastern Region for RP Lighting + Fans, focusing on driving business growth and managing independent representatives.

• Manage sales in the Eastern Region, supporting clients from Maine to Florida.
• Develop account planning and customer-focused selling strategies.
• Lead independent manufacturers’ representatives to achieve sales goals.
• Participate in corporate sales strategy development.
• Conduct regular visits to customers and trade shows.
• Communicate market trends and competitive activities.
• Assist customer service with post-sales support and technical expertise.
• Provide sales and management reports as required.
• Preferred: 2+ years in regional management and lighting industry experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a regional management role.
• Experience in Commercial and Residential lighting.
• Ability to motivate and mentor a team of representatives.
• Experience in Multi-Family / Multi-Tenant building industry is helpful.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Comfortable with market disruption and adaptable to change.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
