Overview

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Field Service Engineer to contribute to service strategy and growth by delivering high-quality service offerings for customers in the Transformers sector.

In Short

• Responsible for Transformer service activities including installation and commissioning.
• Co-ordinate project resources and maintain documentation.

• Lead service projects from start to finish.
• Work across the UK, sometimes at short notice.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering-related qualifications or suitable industry experience.
• Experience in the Transformers or power sector.
• Proven mechanical installation and power equipment testing experience.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CCNSG preferred.
• Full driving license required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible attitude towards working hours.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
