Director of Supplier Quality - Remote

Overview

As the Director of Supplier Quality, you will play a critical leadership role in qualifying, managing and optimizing the performance of our supplier and 3rd party partner base, ensuring that we consistently receive high-quality materials and components.

• Lead Supplier Quality Strategy to ensure supplier compliance with product specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Foster strong relationships with key suppliers for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier quality and performance.
• Manage and mentor a team of Supplier Quality professionals.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier quality performance.
• Champion continuous improvement processes in the supply chain.
• Lead efforts to resolve complex quality issues with suppliers using structured methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality from development through production.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in supplier quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and risk management techniques.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop action plans.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
