Overview

The Director of Advocacy, Emerging Campuses will advance Hillel Ontario’s Israel and Jewish advocacy agenda on campuses beyond current reach, supporting student leaders and managing advocacy issues.

In Short

• Guide and implement advocacy strategy on campus.
• Support advocacy initiatives on emerging campuses.
• Engage and mentor student leaders in advocacy efforts.
• Collaborate with other advocacy organizations.
• Develop and report on advocacy campaigns.
• Train students to enhance their advocacy skills.
• Monitor antisemitic activities and social media.
• Build relationships with university staff and stakeholders.
• Work in a flexible and hybrid environment.
• Provide monthly reports on advocacy activities.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years in a Jewish Advocacy role.
• 3+ years of leadership and mentorship experience.
• Experience with university administration and campus life.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Base salary of $80,000 - $85,000 annually.
