Overview

The Campus Support Director (CSD) for Organizational Transformation is a dynamic leadership role designed for professionals with specialized expertise in change management and strengthening organizational health. This position is ideal for those with a background in financial, operational, fundraising, and talent/HR management, coupled with experience in consulting or guiding organizations through periods of significant transformation and/or growth.

As the CSDOT, you will maintain a portfolio of campuses and partner with other CSDs to drive high impact initiatives and strategies on campus. You will implement systems and strategies across a unique subset of campuses that will enhance sustainability, operational efficiency, fundraising capacity, and talent development. Working in a consultation capacity with campus professionals and boards to help diagnose issues, you will implement best practices to optimize performance, manage change, and achieve long-term success.

Your work will help build resilient Hillel organizations, equipping them with the long term tools, frameworks, and strategies needed to thrive in an evolving landscape.

In Short

  • Partner with the Data and Evaluation team to create a measurable strategy to identify organizational health and generate a master list of opportunities - for transformation and for high potential growth
  • Lead a culture of positive transformation through engagement with best practices, collaboration, and co-creation across the movement
  • Guide campuses in implementing best practices for financial sustainability, governance, and talent development.
  • Partner with Hillels to build strong financial models, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, oversight, and resource allocation.
  • Advise on recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to build high-performing teams
  • Lead Transformation Task Force and manage grant distribution and evaluation of whether or not the intentional efforts are moving the dial
  • Lead cross-functional teams to create strategic action plans and maintain focus and momentum on identified campus transformation and growth opportunities
  • Perform key functions of the CSD position related to consultation, strategic planning, talent management and acquisition, student leadership and engagement ideation, and SIC partnership and relationship building

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; prior Hillel Executive Director or CEO experience required; 10+ years of professional experience, with expertise in change management, organizational development, or related fields.
  • Proven track record in financial management, operations, and fundraising.
  • Experience in talent, including talent planning, training, coaching, and performance assessment.
  • Expertise in consultation methodology and strategy development.
  • Comfort facilitating high-stakes meetings with boards, executive teams, and university administrators.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, analyze data, and implement actionable solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with the Jewish community and an appreciation for the diversity of Jewish life.

  • Travel opportunities to campuses, conferences, and communities. The expected travel in this role is approximately 20%.

  • Competitive salary ranging from $155,000 - $185,000.
