Development Director - Remote

Overview

The Development Director will help take UConn Hillel to its next phase of growth by connecting people to the community and raising vital funds, enhancing the organization’s infrastructure and impact on Jewish students.

• Oversee fundraising strategies and campaigns.
• Develop a dynamic development strategy for donor cultivation.
• Create a comprehensive annual campaign for current and prospective donors.
• Manage data entry and gift processing.
• Prepare grant proposals and reports for various funders.
• Work with the Executive Director to identify sponsorship opportunities.
• Train and engage board members in fundraising efforts.
• Build partnerships with campus administration and foundations.
• Create marketing materials in collaboration with the Executive Director.
• Lead initiatives for development-related special events.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, or communications.
• Successful track record in securing significant gifts.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Jewish philanthropic community.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Benefits
