The Surgical Technologist Chief performs direct and indirect technical tasks for patients before, during, and after surgical interventions, ensuring the operating suite is prepared and assisting the surgical team.

Requirements

• Minimum one-year certificate from a college or technical school.
• 3-6 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Nationally recognized certification (CST, TS-C) required within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred 3 years of surgical scrub specialty experience.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Compliance with company’s Code of Business Conduct.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Adherence to safety and health regulations.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
