Overview

Sentara is hiring a Surgical Technologist I at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. The Surgical Technologist ensures that the operating room is properly prepared with the necessary instruments and equipment and assists the surgical team throughout the procedure.

Requirements

• Certification/Licensure: Virginia Surgical Technologist License REQUIRED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification REQUIRED.
• Prior experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
