Overview

The Support Services Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in patient areas and assisting with patient transport within a medical facility.

In Short

  • Daily cleaning of patient rooms and transport of patients.
  • Maintains cleanliness of various designated areas.
  • Inventories and maintains linen and equipment.
  • Transports patients and equipment as directed.
  • Assists in the movement and positioning of OR patients.
  • Cleans and prepares OR rooms post-surgery.
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
  • May perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Requires adherence to ethical and legal standards.
  • Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-6 months of environmental services experience.
  • Experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Ability to follow safety and cleaning protocols.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail in cleaning and inventory tasks.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Commitment to patient care and safety.
  • Basic understanding of HIPAA regulations.
