Senior Radiology Technologist - Remote

Overview

This role performs prescribed radiographic imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, competently performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.

In Short

• Oversees daily operations and manages non-labor expenses for the department.
• Positions patients and selects anatomical and technical parameters for radiographic imaging.
• Prepares for and assists the physician in radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Completes all required documentation for procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications.
• Implements radiation protection and safety standards.
• Covers chief tech duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT Radiography certification.
• 2 years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Various background clearance certificates.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree.
