The Patient Access Coordinator I plays a crucial role in providing excellent service to patients and families by managing scheduling, pre-registration, and financial processes within the healthcare system.

  • Conducts scheduling and pre-registration functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 months related experience or training preferred.
  • Experience in a medical or financial services setting is a plus.
  • Proficient in using PC and software applications.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verifications preferred.
  • Experience in a call/service center is beneficial.
