The Medical Assistant for Women's Health at Allegheny Health Network is responsible for providing essential clinical and administrative support to enhance patient care and ensure an efficient clinic experience.

• Assist in coordinating patient care under healthcare provider supervision.
• Prepare and room patients according to standardized workflows.
• Obtain patient vital signs and history accurately.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Provide follow-up communication with patients as instructed.

• Ensure adequate inventory of medical supplies.
• Perform lab controls and equipment checks accurately.
• Document patient information in the electronic health record.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company policies regarding patient information.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Preferred: Previous patient care experience.
• Preferred: BLS certification.
