Distribution Technician - Remote

Overview

The Distribution Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment and inventory control processes within a warehouse environment.

In Short

• Operate and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Receive, putaway, pick, and replenish inventory.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
• Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and certifications.
• Organize and complete daily work assignments efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow company procedures for ecological policies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a high-volume warehousing environment.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and WMS.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation.
• Material Handling Equipment Certification required.
• Understanding of process improvement methods.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Compliance with safety and legal standards.
