Overview

Conexon is a rapidly growing company working with Rural Electric Cooperatives to build advanced fiber to the home (FTTH) networks nationwide. We are currently looking for a Distribution Field Technician II to join the Conexon Field Services team.

In Short

• Join a growing company in the fiber optics industry.
• Collect field data for Make Ready Engineering.
• Remote position with significant travel requirements.
• Provide quality pictures and measurements.
• Analyze equipment and keep it updated.
• Coordinate travel with the Lead Technician.
• Upload pictures for design specialists.
• Lead a crew when necessary.
• Learn NESC clearances for fiber builds.
• Develop knowledge of RUS standards.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent education level is required.
• Travel for work will be required.
• Attention to detail and accountability for work is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Continuous learning mindset.
• Knowledge of RUS specifications preferred.
