Grants Finance Accountant - Remote

In Short

• Responsible for financial budget vs actual ledgers on broadband grants projects.
• Assist in developing tools and trackers for data analysis.
• Communicate financial status of each project effectively.
• Handle multiple projects and tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Microsoft Excel power user; daily use of Outlook and SharePoint.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• Work with internal and external information sources for reporting.
• Develop scalable processes for data summarization.
• Collaborate with grants compliance team for spending reporting.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• Clear communication skills with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Prior financial experience in broadband or telecommunications preferred.
• Flexibility and self-motivation are crucial.
• Normal office conditions, some irregular hours may be required.
