Overview

Conexon works with Rural Electric Cooperatives (REC’s) to construct fiber to the home (FTTH) networks in communities that lack reliable high-speed internet access. Conexon offers clients comprehensive broadband deployment and operations support. Our services encompass financial analysis, securing financing, network design, project management, operational support, business optimization, and determining optimal partnerships. Conexon Connect, our ISP arm, was established to operate and manage both cooperative and investor-owned rural fiber networks.

• General assistance for Grant Leads in funding/grant applications.
• Mapping and analysis of data for project funding eligibility.
• Developing visual resources for GIS requests.
• Improving documentation of team processes.
• Conducting grant-specific research.
• Assisting with feasibility studies.

Requirements

• GIS Certification or 1 year of GIS work experience.
• Foundational knowledge of GIS & cartography.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with proficient time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently.
