CAD Support Specialist - Remote

Overview

As a CAD Support Specialist, you will support the development of high-quality printed circuit board designs by producing complete documentation packages, executing component placement and routing, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

In Short

• Create complete PCB documentation packages.
• Perform component placement and detailed routing based on electrical, mechanical, and thermal requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve design issues.
• Verify layouts using ODB++ and ensure DFM compliance.
• Proficient with Cadence Allegro and other PCB CAD tools.
• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Technology or CAD; 5+ years PCB layout experience.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and effective in team environments.
• Strong manual routing skills and knowledge of constraint management.
• Understanding of PCB design processes, high-speed routing, impedance control, stack-ups, EMC/EMI, and manufacturability.
