Purview Consultant - Remote

Overview

As a Purview Consultant at HTG, you will lead assessments and implement Microsoft Purview solutions while collaborating with a team passionate about technology.

In Short

• Lead assessments and roadmaps for M365 + data estate.
• Define controls and success metrics for compliance.
• Drive deployment plans and change management.
• Design labels, policies, and encryption.
• Integrate across M365 and third-party repositories.
• Configure DLP for M365 and cloud applications.
• Implement retention policies and defensible deletion.
• Stand up eDiscovery processes and analytics.
• Deploy scanners for data classification.
• Automate processes using PowerShell and Graph.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen and eligible for Security Clearance.
• 5–8+ years in security/compliance/data governance.
• 3+ years focused on Microsoft Purview.
• Experience implementing Microsoft Purview in large enterprises.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles.
• Proficiency in configuring Purview assets and scanning rules.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong project management and documentation skills.
• Microsoft certifications in Azure Data or Security are a plus.
• Familiarity with scripting/automation and Graph API.
