Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Specialist to provide comprehensive support throughout the loan application process. This dual-role position involves assisting loan officers in client interactions, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth loan processing from start to finish.

In Short

• Assist loan officers in managing pipelines from start to finish.
• Collect, review, and organize loan application documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Disclose and redisclose loan information to clients, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
• Process loan applications by verifying financial information and credit reports.
• Order necessary services including appraisals and title reports.
• Communicate with clients and other departments to ensure timely processing.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of loan files.
• Resolve client issues regarding their loans in a timely manner.
• Manage adverse files and notify clients of adverse decisions.
• Stay current with federal, state, and local regulations regarding mortgage loan processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in loan processing or related role is preferred.
• Knowledge of loan disclosure and redisclosure requirements, including TRID.
• Familiarity with adverse action notices.
• Experience with ordering and tracking appraisals and title reports.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Encompass knowledge is a must.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
