Overview

The Lead Business Associate is a full-time loan originator and day-to-day team leader within the Loan Operations Team, managing workflow and ensuring operational excellence in business and agricultural loan origination.

In Short

• Originate, process, and book loans for business and agricultural clients.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of loan documentation.
• Oversee daily workflow and task assignments for the team.
• Provide coaching and support to team members.
• Collaborate with the Senior Business Associate for training and process improvements.
• Partner with Credit Portfolio Managers for smooth loan processing.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing training for team members.

Requirements

• 2-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in loan operations or related banking function.
• Strong understanding of loan origination lifecycle.
• Experience with loan documentation and quality control.
• Familiarity with loan origination systems preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience leading or mentoring others preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
