Overview

This position is responsible for the Sales and Gross Profit growth of inactive and some low-activity assigned accounts in the Dental Division, within specific market segments. The role involves contacting assigned accounts, building relationships, and negotiating competitive pricing to regain business.

In Short

  • Responsible for sales growth of assigned accounts in the Dental Division.
  • Utilizes a consultative sales approach with monthly call cycles.
  • Contacts inactive accounts to understand their needs and regain business.
  • Negotiates competitive pricing within contractual limits.
  • Places customer orders over the phone.
  • Maintains knowledge of promotional programs and competitive products.
  • Utilizes technology for call management and reporting.
  • Works with internal teams to provide exceptional customer experience.
  • Attends vendor training sessions to learn product details.
  • Participates in in-person sales meetings and training as required.

Requirements

  • Strong selling, customer service, and negotiation skills.
  • Good telephone etiquette and ability to manage high call volumes.
  • Able to resolve disputes and answer inquiries effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and able to learn new systems.
  • Two years of sales experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related discipline preferred.
