Overview

As a Field Sales Intern, you are the face of our organization, with the goal of introducing Henry Schein’s variety of offerings to assigned accounts. You will promote and sign up Dentists for the educational courses offered, generate leads to pass along to Field Sales Consultants and gather data on each account visited.

In Short

  • Conduct face-to-face calls on 15-20 offices per day.
  • Promote Henry Schein offerings, specifically in technology.
  • Gather data to input into Salesforce Dental profile.
  • Encourage meetings with Field Sales Consultant.
  • Attend all training classes and events as directed.
  • Co-travel with Field Sales Consultants and service technicians.
  • Plan and implement effective strategies to increase market share.
  • Maintain communication with the Regional General Manager.
  • Develop and manage a specific target list of prospects.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Good time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to plan and arrange activities.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Former sales experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must have completed at least 1 semester of a sales course.
