Billing Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Billing Specialist will prepare and execute billing and collection processes for Healthy Alliance by reviewing and submitting billing via the Unite Us platform and MillinPro RCM application.

In Short

• Prepare and execute billing and collection processes.
• Review and reconcile billing in MillinPro and Unite Us.
• Verify prior authorizations and eligibility.
• Submit invoices electronically for billable services.
• Monitor claims for pends/denials requiring follow-up.
• Review remittance advice and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Finance Liaison and RCM Director.
• Maintain knowledge of Medicaid and local transformation.
• Exercise discretion and professional judgement.
• Maintain current knowledge of required trainings.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years health care claims billing experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Office 365 Suites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple detailed projects.
