In Short

  • Contribute to enhancing our revenue cycle management (RCM) and support revenue goals by helping our billing process run smoothly.
  • Work with the clinical team to ensure proper insurance coverage and patient understanding of financial responsibilities, optimizing both the patient experience and revenue capture.
  • Help us analyze billing data to reduce errors, identify trends, and ensure we’re capturing the most revenue possible.
  • Collaborate across functions and vendors to improve billing processes and optimize reimbursement rates.

Requirements

  • Availability! Shift time is Mon - Fri, 8AM PST start time (8 hour shift + 30 min unpaid lunch)
  • 2-3 years of experience in medical billing and coding.
  • 2-3 years of experience in patient accounts receivable (AR) collection.
  • Experience with Athena or similar billing platforms, managing billing statements, payment plans, and negotiating balances.
  • Familiarity with Zendesk or customer support platforms.
  • A strong understanding of medical billing processes, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
  • Telehealth experience strongly preferred!
  • An eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving.
