System Administrator I - Remote

Overview

The System Administrator I is responsible for overall planning, development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of all central systems and servers, ensuring reliable system performance and security.

In Short

• Establish and configure Hyper-V Hosts and Virtual Machines.
• Maintain reliable system performance through monitoring and error log review.
• Recommend network/systems upgrades and repairs.
• Oversee server-side deployments and projects.
• Conduct regular tests for speed, security, and reliability.
• Participate in On-Call rotation and perform after-hours work as needed.
• Some travel may be required (no more than 10%).

Requirements

• Experience in Office 365 Administration.
• Experience with EntraID (Azure Active Directory).
• Experience supporting Active Directory infrastructure.
• 1+ years’ experience with Windows Server design and administration preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience with Hyper-V design and administration a plus.
• Experience in deployment of new applications and software upgrades.
• Knowledge of networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and remote communications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
