Director of Infrastructure - Remote

Overview

As the Director, Infrastructure at Health Gorilla, you will set strategic direction for our platform infrastructure to support operational needs and ensure reliability across our SaaS platform.

In Short

• Lead the platform infrastructure, ops, and IT organizations.
• Maintain and evolve the platform infrastructure strategy.
• Direct and manage the DevOps, SRE, DBA, and IT teams.
• Provide ongoing technical leadership across all responsible domains.
• Manage 24/7 on-call incident response efforts.
• Establish relationships with external vendors.
• Establish service level agreements according to goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in cloud-based platform infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and databases.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes tooling and workloads.
• Experience with cloud-based CICD platforms.
• Experience with DBA ops and maintaining large production databases.
• Experience with scripting languages (sh, python).
• Experience with cybersecurity policies across infrastructure.
• Experience working cross-functionally with teams.
• Hands-on experience procuring and managing vendors.
• Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment.
